Has God made a promise to you, but you’ve been hurt in church?

‪Has God spoken a promise to you, but you’ve been hurt buy people you trusted in your church community? Did you miss something? Not likely.

Most of us have been through hurt in a church setting. Know that you aren’t alone. People are messy and hurting, and hurt others.

That doesn’t change the dream that God spoke into your heart or that promise He gave you? Don’t let it die.

• The dream God gave you comes at the right time. Maybe it isn’t time yet. God does have a plan, He is faithful! Give it time and be open to the plan taking weird twists & turns.
• The dream God gave you might not be carried out with the group you are with at the time when you receive a dream.
• We need to learn to be good followers for decades before being called to lead. If you cannot trust your leaders, ask God if it’s because of something you need to address in your own soul or if it the leaders aren’t worth following. If they aren’t worth following, leave them unless God calls you to stay.

God’s plans can not be stopped or thwarted. Or diverted. If you are seeking Him, trusting Him for your every step, He will make a way.
